It’s been a while. It seems like every time I stop posting, I feel like I need to come up with something epic to break the silence. I mean, if nothing I thought about for the past few months was worth saying, this had BETTER be good, right?
Well, sorry to disappoint, but there’s nothing great on the way. So here are a few random thoughts.
Since 1980, there has been a Bush or a Clinton on the presidential ticket and, subsequently, a Bush or a Clinton has been President or Vice President. Since 1980. That’s over 25 years. Doesn’t anyone else see anything wrong with that?
Bill Belichick was caught cheating and fined $500,000 by the NFL, yet he was voted coach of the year.
Instant replay in college football is stupid. The referee has no say, they just wait for whoever happens to be in the replay booth to make the call for them. What’s the point?
I’m totally tired of the NBA. You don’t need a damn press conference after every game. That goes for the NFL, too. And NHL.
We’re in store for a good 9 months of hollow promises and lies and unqualified “plans” and vapor. And apparently we’re just going to take it, because there’s not much we can do about it. Election years suck, and they will continue to suck until we get to vote for PEOPLE instead of POLITICIANS. However, for that to happen, people have to run, and unfortunately, politicians are the only ones who run.
Ok, I guess I’m done for now.
